Stros company was founded in 1960 and is located in Sedlcany, 70 km south of the capital city of Prague. Having started as a manufacturer of saws, winches, pneumatic gear and tube mail, the company soon focused on the production of rack-and-pinion lifting equipment, specifically construction hoists and mast-climbing work platforms.
